Suzette Stitch Bookmark

This elegant bookmark is very simple to crochet and whips up very quickly.

Materials

Cotton sport yarn (worsted weight works too, its just a bit thicker)

3mm crochet hook (4mm if using worsted weight yarn)

Notes

Repeat from * to * x times

Do not crochet in the chain one at the beginning of each row

Crocheted using the Suzette Stitch (instructions are written below)

Tassel instruction are not included

Pattern

Ch 14

1. in the second chain from hook, sc and dc in the same stitch, skip the next chain space, * sc and dc in the same stitch, skip the next chain space * 5 times, sc in the last chain space.

2. ch 1, turn, * sc and dc in the sc from the previous row, skip the dc from the previous* 6 times, sc in the last sc from the previous row.

3-34. repeat row 2, always sc and dc in the sc from the previous row, skip the dc from the previous row, sc in the last sc from the previous row.

Fasten off and weave in ends. I attached a tassel to the top left corner of the bookmark, but this step is optional.
